WHY MEMORIES UP MOUNTAINS?
Memories Up Mountains was born from something deeply personal.
My mum lived with Alzheimer’s disease. As her condition progressed, we experienced what so many families experience — watching memories, words and parts of the person you know gradually become harder to reach.
Mum died on New Year’s Day 2025.
This challenge is in her memory, but it is also about something bigger. It’s about raising awareness, supporting Alzheimer’s charities across the UK and Ireland, and encouraging people to make memories while they can.
Because memories aren’t only something we lose.
They’re something we make.
